Female Barbarian
Usually I am not the biggest fan of Freebooter Miniatures, but I really like this sculpt. Maybe because it is less cartoony than some of the others. Anyway I tried to develop a scheme based around heavy use of turquoise, blue and purple – obviously inspired but some of Jan Haley’s fantastic miniatures. Tom Blackknife
Tom Blackknife, an interesting undead Pirate cutthroat from Reaper Miniatures’ Warlords line.
I used this mini as a test canvas for the Reaper Master series paints which I used almost exclusively here. Overall these paints are very nice and take thinning well.
