Draegyn, the Black Bastard – a miniature I wanted to paint for some time. Actually I had started to paint it on three previous occasions, but it always ended in the stripper. This time I wanted to strip the mini again when I was halfway through, but I pushed myself to continue. I think this was the right decision.

I finally had the chance to paint this fantastic sculpt from the Iron Kingdoms range. I tried to get my hands on her a couple of times but she was always sold out. Naturally I jumped at the chance to paint her when a friend asked me to paint this mini for him.

Another miniature from the Iron Kingdoms range – Jhureen Hecatha, Satyxis Raider.
The choice of colors wasn’t planned this way from the beginning, but kind of happened. I tried adding some blue ink to my skin color and this was the result, unusual and unexpected, but I decided to give it a go. Another great sculpt from Privateer Press’ Iron Kingdoms range – the Iosan Fighter. I tried to achieve a very dark and moody atmosphere.
