Just a few weeks …

… till Mini-Art-Con 2009! This looks more and more like the event to be in Germany. Mini-Art-Con – happening for the third time this year – will be on March, 21st 2009 in Reken. Exhibitors include Freebooter Miniatures, Masquerade Miniatures, Tin’s Bits and many more. Also Das Bemalforum and MaxPaint – arguably Germany’s two biggest miniature forums – will each have a booth showing the works of their members. You might find a few of my own miniatures in there too.
Mini-Art-Con will once again be host of one of the biggest and best painting competitions, the Red Devil. From what I have seen and heard so far the level of competition will (again …) be awesome and winning one of the coveted trophies will be a tough challenge.
Maybe I will have the chance to meet some of you there?

Hatherley, TDpainted01, Paint It 2008

Finally das bemalforum released the next issue of their e-zine TDpainted. So far I only had the chance to take a very quick look, but the first impression is excellent. One of the main features is the coverage of the online painting contest Paint It 2008 with pictures and comments for every entry. Download TDpainted01 ยป
With the entries finally online I can now add my entry to the galleries. I painted Hatherley the Dwarf from Hasslefree Miniatures.

Today Team Deutschland (TD, Team Germany) of das bemalforum released the first issue of their new free online magazine dealing with the world of painted miniatures. The magazine features 61 pages full of articles, reviews, tutorials, convention reports, … supported by many pictures. Contributors to this issue are many well known members of Team Deutschland like GeOrc, Bestienmeister, ben_komets and many more headlined by chief editor goatman. The magazine is in german.
