Well, 2016 has been a rather quiet year for painting. Too quiet. Just before the year is over I finally have something new to share – my first Bust. This Norman Warrior from FER Miniatures was a very interesting change in pace from Battletech and, to be honest, much-needed.
It is far from perfect, of course. Painting skin is harder than it looks and trying to create textures on clothing and leather is a very interesting challenge. While the process is somewhat similar to some weathering techniques I use on Mechs, it is different enough to be interesting.
I can safely say, this won’t be my last venture into the world of larger scales and Busts 🙂
