Woohoo finally an update My latest work is a Flashfire BattleMech from Iron Wind Metals. The Flashfire is one of the Solaris VII Mech designs produced specifically with arena combat in mind. I decided to modify the miniature so it might represent a variant for ‘military use’. To do this I filed off the spikes on the left arm and shoulder. Additionally I tried to make the miniature more dynamic by repositioning the legs into a walking pose.

2010 started slowly and very busy, but I have finally finished my first miniature for the year – a Tau Air Caste Pilot from Games Workshop / Forgeworld. My first resin miniature other than the occasional bit, base or plinth.

Managed to finish a new miniature last weekend – a Female Barbarian (though Warrior Princess sounds so much nicer… ) by Freebooter Miniatures. The colors used are heavily influenced by some of Jen Haley’s fantastic works.
